Inventory Management Executive

Job Summary

HR Force International is looking for an organized and detail-oriented Inventory Management Executive to oversee and manage our inventory processes. This role is vital in ensuring that inventory levels meet the needs of our operations while minimizing excess and obsolescence. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with various teams to maintain optimal stock levels and facilitate smooth operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage inventory levels across various locations to ensure optimal stock availability.
  • Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Utilize inventory management software to track stock movements, manage orders, and report on inventory performance.
  • Develop and implement inventory control policies and procedures to improve inventory accuracy and efficiency.
  • Collaborate with procurement and sales teams to forecast inventory needs based on demand trends and sales forecasts.
  • Analyze inventory turnover rates and make recommendations to reduce excess stock and minimize potential obsolescence.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records, including receiving, stocking, and shipping activities.
  • Assist in the development of budgets and forecasts related to inventory management.
  • Coordinate with warehouse personnel to ensure the efficient movement and storage of inventory items.
  • Prepare inventory reports and present findings to management on a regular basis.
  • Identify and resolve discrepancies in inventory counts and communicate findings to relevant stakeholders.
  • Implement best practices for inventory management to enhance overall efficiency and accuracy.
  • Prepare for and facilitate physical inventory counts as required.
  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or logistics.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management systems and MS Office, particularly Excel.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with attention to detail.
  • Organizational Skills: Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for working with various teams and presenters.
  • Team-oriented: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment as well as independently.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Experience in ERP systems or other inventory management software is a plus.
