Sr. Campaign Manager, Marketing

Illumination is seeking an experienced Sr. Campaign Manager to guide our theatrical marketing projects. A detail-oriented and results-driven leader, the ideal candidate understands the modern marketing landscape and possesses the experience and collaboration skills to align multiple stakeholders in delivering high-impact campaigns that drive audience engagement and conversion. This critical role requires someone who can move projects forward with skill and diplomacy while meticulously managing timelines and creative assets across multiple teams and platforms.


Responsibilities
  • Manage go-to-market plans, schedules, and projects from inception to final completion.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams to advance marketing efforts supporting the release of upcoming Illumination films and IP across Domestic and International Theatrical, PVOD, and Home Entertainment campaigns.
  • Ensure each film has a clear, structured marketing calendar and roadmap, with defined milestones and accountable owners.
  • Proactively assess project needs, anticipate potential roadblocks, and implement solutions to keep campaigns on track.
  • Collaborate with internal departments while maintaining seamless communication with key partners, including Universal Pictures, Nintendo, and Illumination Studios Paris.
  • Oversee brand guardianship across domestic and international markets, ensuring creative alignment and strategic execution across all campaign materials.
  • Support the development of high-visibility executive presentations.
  • Track deliverables against production timelines and maintain current project list/job status reports.
  • Ensure meetings are effectively structured, follow-ups are diligently tracked, and recaps are distributed to maintain cross-team alignment.


Qualifications
  • 8+ years of experience in Marketing, Advertising, or related fields.
  • Proven experience in Campaign Management, Marketing Management, Brand Management, or Project Management.
  • Strong project management skills and experience managing marketing campaign development and deployment with multiple stakeholders, timelines, and deliverables.
  • Experience working on theatrical releases is a plus but not required.
  • Background in launching high-impact IP, products, or services is advantageous.
  • Exceptional ability to communicate effectively and diplomatically with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and results-driven.
  • Strategic thinker with strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Experience with creative development, asset production, and marketing execution preferred.
  • Familiarity with motion picture marketing is beneficial.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and thrives in a dynamic, evolving industry.


The base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $120,000 per year. We rely on market indicators to determine compensation and an offer will consider various factors including experience, qualifications, skills, and training. Our comprehensive and competitive benefits package includes medical, dental and vision insurance for employees and their family, 401(k), paid time off, tuition reimbursement and a variety of other perks.
