Lead Data Analyst

Informa Markets, a division within Informa, creates global platforms for industries. We organise over 500 large-scale branded and transaction-oriented events in 14 specialist markets. These are typically not-tobe-missed annual events where buyers and sellers build relationships, see and show products and do business. We also provide year-round online platforms where companies showcase their businesses and products and buyers conduct research, generating valuable leads, and we provide data and digital content that supports the flow of knowledge and transactions in markets. 

We're looking for a passionate and innovative data professional to join our team and help drive our Foods business forward.

• Team Empowerment: Foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning within our diverse data & analytics team.
• Strategic Vision: Craft and implement a data analytics roadmap that elevates our Foods business to new heights.
• Insightful Analytics: Create compelling data products that empower stakeholders to make smart, data-driven decisions.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with sales, marketing, and other teams to uncover data-driven opportunities and implement cutting-edge analytics solutions.
• Data Quality Champion: Enhance our data collection processes and expand our data sources while maintaining top-notch data quality.
• Project Leadership: Spearhead data projects, ensuring they align with our business goals and deliver on time.
• Innovation Driver: Develop an innovation pipeline that boosts revenue and productivity in our Foods business.

What You Bring

• Experience: A track record of 5 to 6years of relevant proven experience in data analytics, including experience guiding small teams. We value diverse career paths and experiences.
• Education: A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field. We also welcome candidates with non-traditional educational backgrounds who can demonstrate equivalent skills and knowledge.
• Technical Prowess: Proficiency in SQL, Python/R, and data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau. Knowledge of NLP, web scraping, and predictive modeling. Familiarity with AWS is a plus, but we're open to experience with other cloud platforms.
• Industry Insight: B2B customer data experience in the events business is beneficial, but we're excited to hear how your unique background can contribute to our team.
• People Skills: Strong communication, problem-solving, and project management abilities. A talent for translating complex data into clear insights for diverse audiences.
