Overview

Kimley-Horn is looking for a Graphic Designer to join our Orange, California (CA) office! This is not a remote position. 

Responsibilities

  • Our Graphic Designers work independently, partnering with other Designers and Marketing professionals to understand and translate the client’s vision and design a variety of deliverables in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Develop graphic covers, templates, layouts, and supporting graphics for marketing pursuits
  • Create presentations, aerial map exhibits, and multimedia graphics
  • Create tailored, print and digital brochures as well as conference/event graphics
  • Design digital campaigns for external recognition/pursuits
  • Thrive as part of a large, creative, and specialized marketing team
  • Partner with engineers, project managers, and technical staff
  • Serve as a brand advocate for Kimley-Horn and the client’s visual guidelines

Qualifications

  • 2+ years of corporate and/or agency experience
  • Bachelors Degree in Graphic Design or similar
  • Proficiency in Adobe CC (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat) and Microsoft Office Suite (Kimley-Horn is a PC-based company) 
  • Ability to use InDesign software for layout of complex documents
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A positive, collaborative, solution-seeking attitude, and a high sense of personal responsibility
  • Desire to learn new skills, manage tasks and teams, participate in process improvement
  • Flexibility to periodically work outside normal business hours as needed
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle simultaneous, varied assignments while providing consistent quality and accuracy
  • Willingness to travel in support of remote projects and teams

Salary Range: $75,000-$85,000
