Marketing Automation & Email Specialist

Our Global Marketing team is growing and we are now looking for a Marketing Automation & Email Specialist to join us! This is a brand new role and will be key to driving engagement and creating meaningful customer experiences at Moodle.

This is a fully flexible role and candidates can be based anywhere in Europe

What You’ll Do

Most days in this role usually involve a mix of:

  • Managing and optimising automated marketing workflows, email campaigns, and lead nurturing programs to drive engagement and conversions.
  • Overseeing HubSpot workflows, audience segmentation and personalised messaging.
  • Tracking and analysing campaign performance metrics and leveraging insights to refine strategies.
  • Collaborating cross functionally with marketing and sales teams to create seamless customer experiences that enhance engagement and drive revenue growth. 
  • Ensuring compliance with privacy regulations while maximising email marketing impact.

We’d love to meet you

Especially if you can tell us about your:

  • Proven experience in email marketing, marketing automation, or a similar role.
  • Extensive hands-on experience with HubSpot, including setting up automated workflows, lead scoring, and segmentation.
  • A track record of increasing engagement and conversions through data-driven email marketing strategies.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and product teams. 
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience A/B testing, deliverability optimization, and performance reporting. 
  • Knowledge of email marketing best practices (personalization, segmentation, compliance, etc.)
  • Understanding of GDPR, CAN-SPAM, and other email marketing laws.
  • Strong writing skills to craft engaging emails tailored to different audience segments.
  • Excellent communication skills (verbal and written) with strong attention to detail.
  • A proactive, collaborative mindset, team focused attitude, a willingness to embrace the culture, all with a genuine passion for helping Moodle advance our mission.
