Summary:
Mortenson is currently seeking an experienced Project Engineer with self-perform expertise in our Wind Group with the ability to interact with a variety of staff at all levels in an ever-changing environment, remaining flexible, resourceful, proactive, and efficient with a high level of professionalism and confidentiality. The Project Engineer will review, provide analysis, management, and resolution of field coordination issues with project team members and participants.
NOTE : This position will travel anywhere throughout the United States 100% of the time to various project locations across the United States (with regular rotations home every 3 weeks for 5 days). This person can be based anywhere in the United States.
Responsibilities:
Organization, flexibility, outstanding customer focus and strong communication are critical in performing duties which include, but are not limited to:
Interpret project plans, specifications, and details for subcontractors and craft persons
Manage all aspects of testing and inspection processes for the construction quality management program
Manage submittals
Develop and distribute RFIs and Change Orders

The base pay range for this role is $82,000 - 110,700.. (Actual range is higher for the following office locations: Denver, CO and Chicago, IL – 5%, Seattle, WA, and Portland, OR – 10%, Washington, D.C. – 12.5%).
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual’s knowledge, skills, and experience, with consideration given to internal equity.
