Job Summary:
The Vice President, Sales Direct, is responsible for leading and executing the company’s sales strategy to drive revenue growth, market expansion, and customer satisfaction. This role involves overseeing regional or national sales teams, setting ambitious performance targets, and ensuring the achievement of production, quality, profitability, and customer service goals. The VP, Sales will spearhead sales force effectiveness initiatives, including strategic planning, performance analysis, quota management, sales process optimization, training, program implementation, compensation design, and talent acquisition.
As a key executive, the VP, Sales will collaborate closely with internal and external stakeholders, ensuring alignment between sales, marketing, operations, and customer success teams to enhance overall business performance. This role requires a visionary leader with strong business acumen, a data-driven approach, and a track record of scaling high-performing sales organizations. Reporting to the Senior Vice President (or relevant executive), they will play a pivotal role in shaping the company’s growth strategy and competitive positioning.
Works closely with executive sales leadership to define the optimal performance measurements and performance management programs required to ensure sales organization success.
