JOB MISSION:
New Balance Apparel is positioned as a key growth engine for the company. We are looking for an experienced Sr. Product Manager, Made for Outlet Apparel on the Product Creation team to join our group at New Balance. This role will help to shape the future of Outlet Apparel by leveraging consumer and marketplace insights to deliver the right products, to the right place at the right time to drive commercial growth. This individual will be a strategic, highly collaborative and creative thinker, with a keen understanding of the product creation process and focus on value engineering
MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Develop and execute a product range that honors the New Balance brand, as well as attracts, excites and connects consumers across the globe while achieving KPI targets.
Monitor and leverage trend insights across the activity and market landscape to build a compelling product range across multiple price tiers for our target consumer.
Obsess over the Outlet consumer: apply hindsight, insight, foresight and marketplace knowledge to create compelling product strategies and identifying opportunities.
Create and execute a 3-year product launch and franchise strategy for Outlet focused on delivering a premium brand experience
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product launches.
Manage product life cycles and update product portfolios as needed.
Achieve topline sales revenue and blended GM targets
Communicate goals, expectations, and responsibilities surrounding the product to the appropriate teams, direct report and to management
Identify and troubleshoot issues related to product creation
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
5-10 years of experience in product management, merchandising or buying within the Apparel industry.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Strong merchandising and presentation skills.
Proficient in creating briefing tools and templates with PowerPoint or Keynote.
Excellent in Excel (Pivot tables, V-look ups, Formulas)
Strong strategy building skills that will help shape the future.
Time management skills and ability to prioritize and pivot when needed.
Consumer obsessed with a problem-solving mindset.

Flexible Work Schedule
For decades we have fostered a unique culture founded on our values with a particular focus on in-person teamwork and collaboration. Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced “Work from Anywhere” (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
