Here, you'll be at the heart of news production, crafting daily newscasts that inform and engage our audience across various platforms. In this dynamic position, you'll be responsible for deciding the order of stories, writing captivating teases, and prepping content that keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. Your keen eye for detail will serve you well as you edit video segments and ensure they are optimized for our website. Collaboration is key; you'll work with reporters to pitch and discover new stories while balancing news and feature content to create compelling broadcasts. Not only will you engage with the community through social media, but you’ll also put your skills into action by approving scripts and executing various responsibilities that come your way. To thrive in this role, you’ll need a Bachelor's degree in Journalism or a related field, excellent communication skills, and preferably, two years of experience in news operations.
