Sr./Ssr. Accountant with English - Mexico

As a Senior/Semi Senior Accountant, your main responsibilities will include performing accounting tasks like journal entries and reconciliations, preparing financial reports, managing tax calculations and filings, and overseeing social security processes with IMSS. You’ll also be providing necessary support for audits and ensuring all records are accurately maintained.

To be considered for the Senior/Semi Senior Accountant position, you should have a minimum of 2 years of experience in accounting, ideally from a public accounting firm. Fluency in English at an upper-intermediate level is required, along with proficiency in accounting principles and advanced Excel skills.

The Senior/Semi Senior Accountant position is primarily remote, but we prefer candidates who reside in Mexico, ideally in Guadalajara, as you may need to attend the office a few times a month for meetings and team collaboration.

In the Senior/Semi Senior Accountant role, you should have advanced knowledge of Excel for data analysis and reporting tasks. Familiarity with accounting software is also a plus, as it will help you efficiently manage your responsibilities.

While not mandatory, having experience with US accounting laws and practices is considered a bonus for the Senior/Semi Senior Accountant position. It's also beneficial if you have fluency in French, as it may help in communicating with diverse client bases.
