The Senior Program Manager will lead and drive the successful execution of complex technical programs across various product development cycles. You will work closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define, plan, and execute programs that will have significant impact on our product. You will be responsible for managing cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives, and ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to scope.
Lead cross-functional technical programs from initiation through completion, ensuring all milestones, deliverables, and deadlines are met.
Partner closely with engineering, product, design, and other departments to create detailed project plans, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation strategies to ensure efficient project execution.
Develop and define program objectives, scope, and deliverables that align with company goals and customer needs.
Collaborate with engineering, product and other teams to provide technical direction, ensure feasibility, and identify potential technical risks or challenges.
Identify and manage program dependencies, risks, and challenges while ensuring proactive mitigation strategies are in place, escalating as necessary to senior management.
Monitor project performance and track KPIs to ensure projects meet quality standards and are delivered within budget and on time.
Act as the main point of contact for program stakeholders, providing regular status updates and addressing any concerns.
Build strong relationships with teams, executives, and external partners to ensure effective communication and alignment.
Ensure that programs are delivered on time and within scope, adjusting plans as needed to address challenges and changes.
Regularly report on the progress, challenges, successes of the program, ensuring all stakeholders are informed and aligned.
5-8+ years of experience in program or project management, with at least 2 years of experience in a technical program management role in a software environment.
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, engineering, or a related field.
PMP, Scrum Master, or other relevant certifications is a plus.
Strong technical background in software engineering with a solid understanding of product development processes.
Experience in managing complex, cross-functional programs with multiple interdependencies.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) and familiarity with project management tools (Jira, Asana, Trello).
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage an align stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
Demonstrated experience managing risks, resolving issues, and driving projects to successful completion within scope, budget, and timeline.
Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proven leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire, guide, and mentor cross-functional teams.
