About the role

Our Director of Content and Communications will lead the strategy and content development for the organization. The role combines creative vision with strategic planning and execution to drive brand awareness, engagement, and revenue through high-quality, consistent content. You will work closely with marketing, product, sales, the executive team and others to ensure that content aligns with business goals, resonates with target audiences, and supports the overall marketing strategy.

You will report to the Senior Vice President, Head of of Marketing.

You will:

  • Develop a content strategy aligned with our marketing and corporate goals
  • Create and own the marketing editorial calendar
  • Establish guidelines and manage content production from concept to completion
  • Collaborate with product, sales, marketing, brand partnerships, and design teams to plan and develop long and short form content
  • Create and maintain website copy including blogs, brand and product pages
  • Develop a brand voice and tone and maintain brand integrity across all platforms
  • Manage distribution of content across all relevant channels including email, website, social media platforms etc.
  • Stay up-to-date with developments and generate new ideas to draw our audience’s attention
  • Research and implement internal and external communications strategies to build brand awareness and increase visibility
  • Track and report on the progress and success of our content and communications campaigns

You have:

  • 10+ years of experience managing content strategy and execution
  • Developed corporate content strategy from conception through execution
  • Written and edited B2B content including blogs, whitepapers, eBooks, website copy, bylines, webinars and pitch decks
  • Experience in translating complex technology into engaging, memorable, and influential content that result in a clear understanding of the company’s value
  • Partnered with sellers, account managers, and existing clients to understand the needs of prospects during all phases of the sales funnels
  • Demonstrated knowledge of writing B2B content with the fully designed end state in mind. 
  • Developed and delivered content across social media platforms
  • Managed projects in a B2B environment and partnered with other key stakeholders (design, developers, sales, brand partnerships, C-Level executives) to ensure their contribution to the overall project is understood, done to expectations, and completed in a timely manner
  • Ghostwritten executive-level communications taking into consideration their voice and style
  • Bachelor’s degree in Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, Economics, or other relevant fields

The salary range is a reasonable estimate based on aggregate data for all US locations. Any offered salary is determined by a wide range of factors including but not limited to; candidate location, cost of labor, market data/ranges, internal equity, internal salary ranges, applicant’s skills, prior relevant experience, certain degrees and certifications (e.g. JD/technology, for example).

Salary range: Low: $140,000 - High: $180,000
