Working Student Performance Engineering (all genders)

Responsibilities 

  • You will create high quality PV plant energy simulation results for utility scale PV plants and Hybrid plants (PV/Wind/BESS). 
  • You will provide sensitivity analysis of PV energy simulations for the financial evaluation of project opportunities and perform PV plant performance review of operational data (incl. performance testing to industry standards). 
  • You will review site characteristics, meteorological data, project documentation, public records for detailed energy simulations and guidance for technical specifications of equipment.
  • You will present the technical findings and opinions to internal and external stakeholders in meetings and written communication.
  • You will be in collaboration with other team members, contributing to the completion of proposals to design and build photovoltaic projects.
  • You finished your studies in Engineering, Physics, or renewable energy related studies.
  • It is an advantage if you already have some relevant work experience such as in PV, data analysis, and/or with using PVsyst software.
  • You are proficient in MS Office (especially deep understanding of Excel skills). Knowledge of PVsyst and/or AutoCAD are a plus. 
  • You are business fluent in English, and Spanish and/or Portuguese skills are a plus.
  •  It is a plus if you have a willingness to travel (with an available driver's license)
