As the Learning Manager – Customer, you’ll play a key role in shaping learning strategies that drive operational excellence and outstanding customer outcomes across the Qantas Group. You’ll collaborate with senior leaders to assess training needs, design innovative learning solutions, and ensure alignment with Qantas’ business goals. Leading a team of training professionals, you’ll oversee the development and delivery of customer experience and operational learning programs across multiple AOCs, ensuring high-quality, compliant, and effective training.

In this fast-paced role, your ability to influence, collaborate, and deliver results will be crucial. You’ll leverage adult learning methodologies to foster a culture of continuous improvement, provide strategic L&D input, and ensure business needs are seamlessly integrated into training delivery.

You’ll have:

  • 5+ years of experience in learning, development, or training leadership.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Adult Education or a related discipline.
  • Proven experience working in an operational environment, preferably aviation.
  • Strategic business partnering and influencing skills at senior leadership level.
  • Strong knowledge of adult learning principles and training methodologies.
  • Project management and change management expertise.
  • Exceptional facilitation, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Ability to manage competing demands across onshore and offshore operations.
  • High proficiency in MS Office and strong digital learning literacy.
