Director of Engineering

As the Director of Engineering at Recast, you will manage a talented engineering team, implement a strategic engineering roadmap, and enhance product velocity and infrastructure. You’ll also own the tech security practices and drive the SOC 2 certification process. Additionally, you’ll focus on hiring, team development, and maintaining a high-quality engineering culture.

While we welcome diverse backgrounds, the ideal candidate for the Director of Engineering role at Recast should possess significant experience in software engineering leadership, familiarity with cloud architectures like AWS, and a strong understanding of container orchestration with Kubernetes as well as data science concepts. Effective communication and teamwork skills are essential due to the collaborative nature of our work.

Recast is fully remote, allowing the Director of Engineering to work from anywhere within the Americas. In your first six months as Director of Engineering at Recast, you can look forward to onboarding a skilled team, initiating one-on-ones, and establishing development plans. You’ll also work on developing an engineering roadmap and will begin the journey to enhance both our tech security practices and the overall efficiency of the engineering team.
