AI writes code. Riza runs it.
Our customers run code billions of times a month on Riza to power use cases like extracting data from unknown formats by asking claude-3-7-sonnet to generate Python on-the-fly.
We’re second-time founders, with decades of combined experience at Twilio, Stripe and Retool. We work out of a converted warehouse next to Tartine Manufactory in San Francisco. We’re looking to hire three to four engineers to join us in-person.
Our raison d'etre is safely running untrusted code for our customers. There’s no better language to do that than Rust. We’re built on top of open source foundations (wasmtime, Deno, and Firecracker) with plenty of proprietary bits to make code execution safe.
We’re looking to add another Rust expert to our team to help us quickly respond to customer feedback and improve our already lightning-fast performance.
You’ve been writing Rust for at least a few years.
You’re excited about contributing back to open source.
You’re comfortable operating in a world of fuzzy requirements.
You care about moving fast and not breaking things.
You’re okay not writing Rust some days.
Experience with Linux primitives such as cgroups, network namespaces, kvm, journaling filesystems, and more.
Familiarity with Go, TypeScript and PostgreSQL
Competitive seed-stage salary
Generous equity grants.
Founding team equity
Health / dental / vision
