Systems Engineer: Citrix XenApp Infrastructure

Job Description

NetImpact Strategies, Inc. is seeking to hire a Systems Engineer to support a Federal Agency.

This role is located 100% onsite in Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Candidate must be eligible for a Secret Clearance.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expertise in the development and execution of business and financial solutions that adhere to government and industry best practices and standards.
• Design, test, upgrade, and integrate new or existing infrastructure platforms in accordance with the organization’s business requirements.
• Advise senior leadership on governance frameworks and organizational decision-making models.
• Assist senior leadership in shaping and achieving strategic vision, operational, and tactical goals.
• Implement systems to track and manage wireless devices while strengthening mobile device and platform security to safeguard organizational data.
• Facilitate the integration and secure management of mobile applications, devices, data, and content, improving access to critical resources for mobile users.
• Design, build, and maintain Citrix XenApp infrastructure, including Citrix StoreFront, Access Gateway, and Netscaler solutions.
• Assist with Citrix platform upgrades, migrations, and User Profile Management system maintenance.
• Perform system administration tasks for Windows environments and manage virtualization technologies like Citrix and VMware.
• Ensure compliance by installing OS and security updates per DOD, Army, Air Force, and MEDCOM directives.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications and Certifications

• A minimum of 6 years of progressive experience demonstrating the required proficiency.
• Bachelor’s degree and/or equivalency.
• Candidate must be eligible for a Secret Clearance.
• IAT II certification compliant with DoD 8570.01-M requirements. (CCNA-Security, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, SSCP, CySA+ **)
• CE: Professional level certificate.
• Ability to work 100% onsite in Fort Sam Houston, TX.

Preferred Qualifications and Certifications

• Previous Federal Consulting Experience.
• Advanced expertise in mobile device management and infrastructure security solutions.
• Additional certifications in infrastructure or related technologies.
• Experience with Federal or DoD systems and environments.
