Role: internally, we will call this Ambassador Associate — we’ve decided to go to market with Influencer Marketing Associate as we feel it’s right for the US influencer industry ✨

Salary: $60-65k + generous equity

Location: Boston

We're putting together a talented team to build the #1 training platform for Runners

We help everyday runners become outstanding by providing world-class training, coaching and community for everyone, whether you're improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon. To date we have built iOS, Android and Apple watch apps that help people achieve their goals by coaching them through the full journey and syncing to their favourite fitness devices.

We’re growing extremely fast and in November 2023 closed a new £5M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex and Creator Ventures. And in 2024, we were selected by Apple as one of three global finalists for the 2024 iPhone App of the Year reflecting the innovation and impact of what we’ve built.

We’re now looking ahead to the future and the people who want to help us build and scale Runna. Our aim is to reach millions of subscribers in the next 5 years and be the go-to training platform for any runner. Who we’re looking for

We’re looking for two exceptional, proactive, passionate and driven individuals who are ready to roll up their sleeves and help us grow our brand presence in the United States!

This position will sit in our Ambassador Team, driving influencer marketing partnerships forward in the United States. You will have a strong focus on building new influencer marketing campaigns and long-term partnerships – ensuring our they LOVE working with Runna and that our channel is driving amazing results. You’ll also work to support our incredible events to ensure our subscribers in the US love everything about us.

As a Influencer Marketing Associate, your role will include:

  1. Sourcing and Supporting US influencers to create branded Runna content (90%):
    1. Sourcing new US influencers to become brand partners: Working closely with Shamy (US Ambassador Lead) and Juliette (US Ambassador Associate) to source and support new US ambassadors.
    2. Managing existing US creator partnerships: Working closely with Shamy (US Ambassador Lead) and the rest of the ambassador team to support US ambassadors. You’ll be responsible for ensuring they LOVE working with us (including onboarding experience, engagement with races and events, product + training expertise and content inspiration)
  2. Supporting ambassador race trips and events (10%): Helping plan and host flagship race weekend activations and ambassador race trips (e.g. NYC Marathon weekend).

A degree isn’t required for this role, but if you don’t have a degree, we do want to see some experience for this role such as personal projects, internships, or other work experience.

About you:

  • You’re a “doer”; not just a “thinker”. You’re hands-on and want to roll up your sleeves / get stuck in (you have a real ‘go get it’ attitude).
  • You’re organized, efficient and can execute at pace. You can manage lots of spinning plates and prioritize effectively.
  • You care about the small things and have high attention to detail.
  • You have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • You’re a fast learner, see feedback as a gift and constantly think about how you can improve.
  • You’re fun, personable and love running!
  • You're passionate about the running creator space and already have a few ideas of who could make a great Runna ambassador!
  • You’re Boston-based (or able to work in person 3+ days per week).

Interview process

Our aim is to keep the interview process as straightforward and enjoyable as possible, and will consist of the following stages:

  1. Kick off! (Please apply now via Workable)
  2. Introductory chat with Lou (US GM) and/or Em (Talent Lead) (45mins)
  3. Take home task (2hrs)
  4. Virtual interview (45mins) with Shamy (US Ambassador Lead) and Millie (UK Ambassador Lead)
  5. In-person final round (office visit), with Shamy, Lou, Caitlin (Head of Ambassadors), Josh (COO) as well as wider team chats with the Boston office

Once the process is finished, we promise to let you know our decision as soon as possible.

Benefits

We offer a salary of $60,000 - $65,000 (depending on experience), plus equity in the form of Runna stock options.

We'll be growing our package of benefits over time. We currently offer:
