Role Overview

Sodexo is seeking a Field Marketing Specialist for Wayne State University in Detroit, Michigan. This manager will lead marketing campaigns for dining services operations and campus content to accelerate and improve engagement for students and client leadership. Sodexo provides college campuses with food, nutrition, environmental, and facilities management solutions. Joining us at one of our campus sites enables you to positively influence college students' well-being and create a healthy learning environment. 

 

SodexoMagic is the joint venture partnership between NBA Hall of Famer, Earvin “Magic” Johnson, and Sodexo. As a certified minority company, we deliver food, facilities management and integrated services to corporations, healthcare facilities, K-12 schools, colleges and universities and aviation lounges. This strategic alliance between Magic Johnson Enterprises and Sodexo, Inc., enables us to deliver creative solutions to our clients along with our local partners throughout the communities we serve.

What You'll Do

  • lead a marketing team and work with managers, clients, the District Manager and Vice President in all matters relating to marketing, to help establish and maintain a solid and mutually beneficial business relationship
  •  be responsible to build community relationships with local vendors
  • be responsible for successfully coordinating and directing all marketing activities throughout the enterprise, through subordinate managers, supervisors and frontline employees

  • the ability to meet multiple deadlines and manage workload
  • contract food services experience (preferred)
