In this role, you’ll be at the exciting intersection of art and technology, focusing on the technical aspects of game art creation. Your primary responsibilities will include creating intricate materials for characters, weapons, and environments using Unreal Engine, while also developing tools and workflows that help your fellow artists work efficiently. You will dive into the world of visual effects, optimizing them through UE Blueprints and Niagara, all while collaborating closely with engineers and other artists to ensure top-notch content across various platforms. The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio showcasing real-time technical art, a solid grasp of PBR and node-based material workflows, and experience with industry-standard modeling and sculpting tools like Maya, Max, Blender, and ZBrush. Knowledge of Blueprints, game logic, and a knack for cross-disciplinary collaboration will make you stand out. Given that you will be supporting gameplay and engine features from a tech art perspective, excellent time management and organizational skills are a must.
