Senior Market Strategy Analyst

As a Senior Market Strategy Analyst, you will support TKDA’s go-to-market initiatives by providing actionable market and client research, analysis, and reports that align closely with corporate and market development strategies. Your role will involve interpreting factors and trends to identify market demand, new markets, and service offerings, as well as evaluating overall go-to-market performance. Aiming to optimize firm-wide go-to-market efforts, you will produce reports, conduct thorough analyses, and provide recommendations related to business development initiatives, market and client performance, market and project opportunities, competition, and client insights. Additionally, you will automate and oversee market-driven lead tracking, optimizing lead source service subscriptions in accordance with market development plans and objectives. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to continuously develop a data-driven market capture program and manage the ongoing program and market intelligence data generated via Deltek Vantagepoint.


Summary of Responsibilities
  • Engage with stakeholders to gather insights and foster collaboration; develop and implement market strategies with cross-functional teams; support business development efforts through strategic recommendations, proposals, and presentations.
  • Develop and administer quantitative surveys for extensive market research to analyze data for customer segmentation, profitability models, pricing strategies, and other critical business decisions, while monitoring market efficiency through customer satisfaction metrics, business performance evaluations, and trend analysis.
  • Conduct comprehensive business and market analysis to understand trends, competitors, and growth opportunities. Research new market interests, make recommendations, and synthesize information from various sources such as Salesforce data, RFP debriefings, Customer Satisfaction Surveys, and competitor communication. Analyze data from website analytics, advertising platforms, events, social media, sales, and market research to understand customer behavior and dynamics. Develop playbooks, assist cross-functional teams, generate insights that drive market growth, monitor macro trends and local competitor performance, and consolidate data from public filings, press releases, market reports, customer feedback, trade shows, and social media.
  • Maintain and update market intelligence databases, ensuring accurate and detailed reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Develop clear, concise reports and presentations for senior leadership, aligned with corporate strategy, to communicate market insights, progress on strategic initiatives, and recommendations for optimizing marketing activities based on comprehensive market and competitor analysis.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement market strategies, identify and pursue business opportunities, provide strategic recommendations, support business development efforts, and refine go-to-market strategies through customer segmentation and data analysis.


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or marketing, with emphasis in analytics and/or data sciences.
  • Seven or more of progressive experience in a business intelligence or market strategy analyst role producing market and client research and translating data for informed decision making.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting data analysis, designing surveys, generating performance reporting, interpreting and visualizing data, and presenting insights and recommendations to an executive level audience.
  • High proficiency with data analysis tools like Power BI, SQL, Python, and R.
  • Proficiency with MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams). 
  • Strong organization and time management skills demonstrated by the ability to prioritize and meet assigned deadlines.
  • Ability to self-motivate and a demonstrated ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively in accordance with primary responsibilities and project assignments.


Advantageous Qualifications
  • Functional experience with generative AI and using software for market trend analysis, data visualization, web analytics and survey creation and distribution.
  • Prior experience in a related capacity within the architecture/engineering/construction industry.


$85,000 - $100,000 a year
The listed salary range reflects base compensation for candidates who possess the qualifications outlined within posting. Actual compensation offered will be determined by applicable experience, qualifications, and relevant responsibilities.
