Junior UX/UI Designer

We’re looking for a Junior UX/UI Designer to join our Digital team at Trinny London. Reporting to the Head of UX/UI, you’ll collaborate with a diverse team of innovative colleagues to create exceptional digital experiences. The Role 

Your daily to-dos might look like this:

  • Assist in designing intuitive and engaging user interfaces for web applications, ensuring usability, accessibility, and visual appeal.
  • Collaborate with the UX Researcher to incorporate user feedback and testing results into design iterations.
  • Support user testing efforts, gathering feedback to inform design improvements.
  • Translate user research and business requirements into user flows, wireframes, and prototypes.
  • Contribute to the development of reusable UI components that enhance design consistency across platforms.
  • Work closely with teams like marketing and product to align design work with business goals.
  • Partner with Developers during the design process to ensure seamless implementation of your designs.
  • Stay curious and up to date with the latest UX/UI trends and best practices, bringing fresh ideas to the team.
  • Be open to learning and adapting in a fast-paced, agile environment.

These skills will help you go far in this role:

  • Degree in graphic design or a related field
  • A portfolio showcasing your ability to design user-friendly and visually appealing interfaces. Highlight your understanding of layout, typography, and color theory, and your approach to creating seamless user experiences.
  • An eagerness to learn and a keen attention to detail, ensuring quality and consistency in your work.
  • Familiarity with user-centered design principles and methodologies, including basic user research and wireframing.
  • Proficiency in design tools like Figma (or similar)
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues from various teams.
  • Awareness of accessible design standards and a willingness to learn how to apply them effectively.
  • A passion for problem-solving and a proactive attitude toward tackling design challenges.
  • Previous experience in the luxury beauty and/or fashion industry is a plus
