Assistant Management Accountant

Working closely with the Finance Manager, you’ll play an integral part in supporting the team’s goals and contributing flexibly to a business that’s always moving forward.
Key Tasks
- Prepare monthly management accounts.
- Prepare cost centre reporting as required.
- Prepare balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy of the balance sheet.
- Oversee accurate stock counts and monthly stock revaluations.
- Participate in monthly MI meetings, providing analysis and insights to compare actuals against budget and forecast, helping the management team interpret key financial data.
- Support the payroll team with payroll reconciliations, ensuring accurate recordings of payroll taxes, pensions, and other obligation.
- Support with group and local audit and tax processes.
- Assist Finance Managers with any ad-hoc analysis and project work.
- A bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, finance, or a related field.
- Part qualified accountant or working towards relevant qualification.
- Previously worked within a team and be able to highlight an ability to work collaboratively.
- Excellent organisation skills and very diligent.
- Thrive within a fast past environment and have the desire to match the business growth ambitions.
- An interest in health and fitness is preferable.
