Job Description

A2A payments is a strategic initiative at Visa. It allows cost efficient instant transfer of money between accounts in alternative ways to the existing payments methods. The hypothesis to be proven is that account-to-accounts payments (such as Pay-by-bank) can be the most optimal payment method for a wide set of segments and use-cases, while combining efficiently a suite of anti-fraud + risk set of capabilities as well as a seamless user experience, with ease of integration. Capitalising on this opportunity will be key in transforming Visa’s business model.

As a Payments Product Manager in the Visa Open Banking Services area, you will be responsible for driving pay-by-bank growth across the EU region, more specifically in the One-time-payments set of of use-cases. You would be part of a product management group of teams and accountable for 1 or more important components of the full product suite (Payment initiation service, Risk Signals, Settlement accounts, Partner integration experience).

Responsibilities include: Customer engagement & continuous discovery, Product planning, Roadmap delivery & project/program management, stakeholder management.

Qualifications

Payments expertise:

  1. Previous experience within payments products (deep context of payments methods, its pros and cons and its EU market/segment fits)
  2. Familiarised with pay-by-bank product proposition and the model behind it
  3. Experience in serving B2B customers (specially large merchants, banks and/or PSPs)

Digital product management expertise:

  1. At least 3 year experience in a related field with Product management including product conception, building, launching, and growing digital products
  2. Experience working with cross-functional teams including Sales, Engineering, Design, Marketing, Technology and Data & Analytics
  3. Demonstrated ability to achieve strategic goals in an innovative and fast-paced environment

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
