AI Product Manager Intern

Description

We are on the lookout for an AI Product Manager Intern to join our growing team!

Who are we?

Trucker Path is redefining the future of freight by building cutting-edge tools for the people who keep America moving. We’re the creators of the #1 trucking app in North America, used by over a million drivers to plan routes, find fuel, book loads, and stay connected on the road. Our mission is simple: make life on the road safer, smarter, and more profitable.

Now, we’re entering a new era—bringing AI and automation into every step of the trucking journey.  From predictive route optimization to real-time fuel intelligence, from AI-powered load matching to preventative maintenance recommendations—we’re building the next-generation platform for the logistics industry. If you’re excited by real-world impact, massive scale, and gritty problems with modern tools, Trucker Path is your place.

What’s the job?

As an AI Product Management Intern, —you’ll be driving real projects with real users and real stakes. You’ll work alongside engineers, designers, PMs, and ops leaders to conceptualize, test, and launch AI-powered features that solve meaningful problems for truck drivers and fleets. You’ll also get direct  exposure to startup leadership, gain a behind-the-scenes look at product strategy in a scaling  company, and build a toolkit that sets you up for PM success—whether at a startup or in big tech. This internship is ideal for bold, curious builders who care about the intersection of AI, product, and the physical world.

  • Own your own AI project — from ideation and user research to MVP launch and iteration. You’ll solve real problems and ship products that touch hundreds of thousands of users.
  • Work cross-functionally with engineering, design, data, and operations to build high-impact, AI-powered features into the Trucker Path app.
  • Learn the foundations of product management through hands-on work, mentorship, and structured feedback.
  • Join leadership and product strategy meetings to see how ideas become roadmaps, and how roadmaps shape the future of a high-growth company.
  • Champion the voice of the user—truckers, fleet managers, and dispatchers—and make product decisions with empathy and data.
  • Immerse yourself in a mission-driven, fast-paced environment where your work matters from day one.

Requirements

What are we looking for?

  • Minimum GPA 3.7
  • You’re a builder at heart — maybe you’ve launched a startup, built an app, hacked together a tool, led a student org, or shipped something from 0 to 1. If you’ve taken something from an idea to a real user experience, we want to hear about it.
  • Previous product management internship experience is welcome but not required. We care more about your potential and curiosity than your resume titles.
  • You think like a product person: structured, analytical, customer obsessed. You love solving messy real-world problems with simple, scalable solutions.
  • You’re a clear communicator who can tell stories with data, pitch ideas with confidence, and rally a team around a vision.
  • Coding experience and the ability to write scripts in Python is a plus— especially useful for building demos, launching small projects, and connecting with AI systems.
  • Bonus if you’ve explored AI, logistics, or mobile product development through class projects, side hustles, or past internships.

What's the program?

  • Our internship program spans 12 weeks and is full-time.
  • Interns are expected to be onsite five days a week at our beautiful 17,000-square-foot office located in the heart of Downtown Phoenix.

Anything else? Absolutely! Benefits and Perks: This is a place where every day we are inspired by our teammates, encouraging each other to be our best. The environment is friendly and supportive! Here are some of the highlights:

  • Team Building: We may work across time zones and countries, but we’re still united. We host a monthly schedule of team activities, quarterly town halls, open Q&A sessions, and other special events…so many fun ways for us to connect and support one another.
  • Growth Opportunities: When our people grow…we grow! We offer leadership training, development journeys for core teams, and coaching/mentoring opportunities. Constant growth and development are inherent in our culture.
  • Tools To Do The Job: We ensure you are hooked up with the tools, equipment, and systems you need. We begin the process prior to your start date, so you are ready to rock ‘n roll on your first day.

Join our growing team and let’s have fun building this business together!
