• Design & implement Visa AI as Services to automate various data & feature pipelines to improve reliability of AI/ML models and data quality. 
• Design & implement scalable performance engineering and benchmarking platform for individual services or E2E flows for Visa AI as Services.
• Design & implement resilient and high availability state of art infrastructure to support high throughput with sub-milliseconds SLA for Visa transactions.
• Drive technical standard and best practices, and continuously improve Visa AI as Services engineering scalability.
• Understand business problems to design, build and oversee the deployment and operation of technology architecture, solutions and software to utilize structured and unstructured data.
• Establish processes, automations, structure and big data systems based on business and technical requirement.
• Architect and Develop software solutions that automate the release cycle from code check-in to deployment, focus on eliminating wait times, manual handoffs and automating as much as possible in order to improve the overall efficiency and reliability of AI Platform release and deployment processes.
• Design and implement Continuous Integration and Test Automation tools and frameworks that are critical in ensuring delivery of products with the highest levels of quality and reliability.
• Understand how the software solutions work from a functional standpoint through verifying that the code solution meets quality standards as well as functional requirements.
• Troubleshoot user issues in large distributed systems with complex usage scenarios.
• Identify proper service metrics and measurements for ensuring performance against Service Level Agreements
• Collaborate with stakeholders (Business owners, Architects, Analysts, Developers, Project Managers, and others) in the creation of solutions for complex problems.
• Improve Agile Development practices.
• Cultivate a culture of innovation and collaboration in the team.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Basic Qualifications
8 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or at least 5 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 2 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
9 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor Degree or 7 or more relevant years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 3 or more years of experience with a PhD
• BS/MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.
• Expert in at least one of the following - Golang, Java, Python or C/C++
• Experience with web service standards and related patterns (REST, gRPC)
• Extensive experience automating system tasks and infrastructure using a language and
infrastructure orchestration tools.
• Experience in automating at least one cloud deployments (aws, gcp , azure , private dc)
• Experience with AI, machine learning/deep learning, tensorflow, pytorch, python/cython , triton etc.
• Experience with Big Data technologies (ambari, zk, kafka, hadoop)
• Experience with distributed caching technologies like Redis
• Experience with Service Mesh
• Experience with Agile and Test Driven Development methodology
• Deep understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle including Continuous Integration and
Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipeline architecture.
• Experience with Docker & Kubernetes.
• Experience with developing microservice-based HTTP applications and servers
• Experience with security tools and best practices
• Experience performing full stack load testing in order to identify and address hardware, network,
system, or application bottlenecks
• Strong analytical skills, able to work independently to solve complex engineering problems. Make
independent judgments/decisions within established guidelines
• Communicate well with others both verbally and in writing and be able to effectively interact with
peers, management and other outside contacts
• The ability to gather and understand business requirements, translate them into
technical/operational requirements
• High degree of initiative and sense of urgency, comfortable with ambiguity as needs change on a
regular basis
• Prior knowledge of Payments and Machine Learning applications desirable.
