Our Gaming team is made up of hybrid-casual, casual and mid-core experts. Our 'Core' games team supports internal and external studios worldwide in creating, developing and launching new hit games, whilst our 'Live' games team focuses on delivering higher engagement on our existing and successful games.


With a portfolio of more than 10 resilient hybrid games generating more than $20m per year, we are the largest and most successful hybrid publisher in the world.


You’ll be part of an internal Core studio of Voodoo, an international team based in Paris focused on turning our highest-potential new games into worldwide hits.


We are looking for a Senior Economy Designer to act as a key contributor to the game vision, feature pipeline, economy design, and monetization strategy for such games, as they move through soft launch and beyond.


Role
  • Create and implement economy systems for several of our new games
  • Contribute to the creation and balancing of robust meta systems, economies, and IAP monetization for a portfolio of new games
  • Define AB testing strategies to optimize economy and difficulty
  • Define & deploy best practices on economy design, tracking, balancing, and insights generation for our games, in collaboration with product and data professionals


Profile
  • At least 4 years of professional experience as a game economist, and previous meaningful contribution to at least two scaled games.
  • Experience working on mobile games and f2p, experience creating economy and monetization loops, and maintaining their balancing.
  • Creative and hacker mindset, you are not afraid to rapidly test an idea.
  • Strong multitasking abilities.
  • Deep collaboration mindset, including strong interpersonal and communication skills, and a positive mindset towards receiving, acting on, and giving feedback
  • Communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
  • Accountability, independence, and responsibility when given ownership over work
  • Understanding of models and tools to analyse gameplay and user behavior
