Senior Officer - Product

The Senior Product Officer will lead and manage the full product lifecycle, from concept and design to launch, planning, and continuous optimization. This role involves strategic planning, collaboration with cross-functional teams, and the development of comprehensive documentation to ensure alignment with business goals.

  • Drive strategic planning for new products and features, utilizing in-depth market research, competitive analysis, and data-driven insights to inform product roadmaps.
  • Oversee the development of Functional Requirement Specifications (FRS) and other technical documentation, ensuring alignment with the BRD and overall business strategy.
  • Lead user testing efforts to validate product designs, ensuring they meet customer needs and business objectives.
  • Advocate for user-centered design principles to enhance product usability and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct thorough analysis of product performance metrics, KPIs, and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and opportunities for innovation.
  • Plan and execute proof-of-concept initiatives to test new features and enhancements, guiding successful implementation and scaling efforts.
  • Collaborate with product managers, UX/Product Design, and development teams to ensure that product development aligns with business goals and timelines.
  • Provide leadership in long-term product planning, including creating and managing product roadmaps that prioritize key features and initiatives.
  • Mentor and guide junior product team members, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strategic thinking.
  • Ensure proper documentation and communication throughout the product development process, maintaining up-to-date records of all product changes, enhancements, and analysis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, or a related field; an advanced degree is a plus.
  • 3+ years of experience in product management or a related role, with a strong track record of successfully managing product lifecycles, creating detailed BRDs, and leading strategic planning efforts.
  • Proven experience in product planning, business analysis, and creating/managing BRDs, FRS, and technical documentation.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to synthesize complex data, market trends, and customer feedback to drive strategic product decisions.
  • Deep understanding of product management methodologies, tools, and best practices, particularly in fintech or technology.
  • Strong understanding of financial technologies and digital payment systems.
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive projects to completion. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with a customer-focused mindset.
