The A.C. Coy company has an immediate opening for a Tax Manager. Ideal candidates will have a minimum of 8 years public accounting including experience reviewing returns from C Corps, S Corps, Partnerships/LLCs, not-for-profits, and returns containing K-1s from partnerships and hedge funds. 

Responsibilities

  • Review individual, trust, non-profit, and business tax returns
  • Communicate effectively with clients to establish and maintain relationships
  • Train, evaluate and mentor staff
  • Provide review and analysis of complex tax returns to clients
  • Advise clients on tax services including tax planning and compliance

Qualifications

Education Required:

  • Bachelor degree in accounting
  • CPA or MS in Taxation preferred

Experience Required

  • 8+ years experience in Public Accounting
  • Experience reviewing C Corp, S Corp, Partnerships/LLCs, complex individual, trust, foundation and not-for-profit returns
  • Knowledge of fiduciary income tax
  • Proficiency in complex returns that include K-1s from partnerships and hedge funds
  • Strong grasp of tax code, laws, and regulations
