Our current Internship opportunity seeks individuals who look forward to being part of PacSun's amazing story.PacSun is looking for multiple forward thinking, retail minded, creators of culture who have an appreciation for fashion and learning.The 2024 Summer Internship Program is a 10-week opportunity beginning June 11 - August 16, 2024.• Internal Applicants from stores: Please obtain an internal application from your DM or RHRM to be considered. Completed applications should submitted to your RHRM directly.*Title/Department- AccountingResponsibilities• * Be curious; Ask questions.• Learn about Pacsun by observing members of the Accounting Department as they perform their functions.• Assist with research, record keeping, and maintaining complete and accurate financial records.• Assist with creating and updating accounting procedures and documenting processes.• Assist with the preparation of invoices and other documents.• Work with accounting software as needed.• Communicate clearly and concisely.• Build strong relationships with members of the Accounting Department.• Produce high quality work that is well documented and supported, and easy to follow.• Proactively seek guidance and feedback.• Demonstrate initiative.Requirements:• Currently enrolled college students and/or recent graduates• Available to work a full time schedule• Passion for fashion, retail, and process improvement• Basic knowledge and proficiency with key Microsoft applications (Word, Excel)This program will challenge your ability to not only think critically and creatively, but also work as a team to strategize and implement solutions.Over the course of this internship, you will be presented with insight into your career path with exposure to the long- term strategies and day-to-day tasks required in your selected department.This is a paid internship ($20.00/hour), that's right; we're paying you to spend time with us, get some work done, and instigate a little fun while we're at it.We look forward to meeting you!PacSun is more than just a place to work.
