The Sr Vice President of Sales will be responsible for crafting, leading, and executing the sales and go-to-market strategy in addition to implementing effective development initiatives. Reporting to the Chief Revenue Officer, this senior executive position is responsible for creating sales and growth strategies and targets in concert with the executive team and motivating their team to reach and exceed those goals. This individual will partner with the executive leadership team to continually identify, develop, and execute a broad range of strategic initiatives to drive revenue and bookings. In addition, they will lead the hiring and development of sales leadership and sales representatives, sales deployment models, sales enablement strategies, and contribute greatly to the compensation model. In addition, this individual will work closely with our product and service teams to innovate based on the voice of the customer and market, review pricing, product packaging, and provide market and competitive analysis. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader who can operate globally with the ability to communicate across different time zones and cultures. 


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to drive growth in the US market and beyond.
  • Identify and target high-value enterprise clients, establishing long-term relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Lead, mentor, and scale a high-performing sales team, fostering a culture of success, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and customer success, to align sales initiatives with company objectives.
  • Own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and pipeline development to negotiation and closing.
  • Utilize data-driven insights and CRM tools to monitor performance, optimize processes, and improve sales efficiency.
  • Stay ahead of industry trends, competitive landscape, and emerging technologies to position our solutions effectively.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and business development.
  • Develop and implement scalable global sales processes to drive efficiency, alignment and growth across international markets. 


Qualifications:
  • 20+ years of progressive sales experience, with a proven track record leading major/enterprise-level sales professionals.
  • 10+ years of experience in the Human Capital Management (HCM) software or services sector is required.
  • 10+ years of experience in sales leadership is required.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
  • Proven track record of closing complex, high-value enterprise deals and achieving aggressive sales targets.
  • Strong leadership skills with experience in hiring, coaching, and managing high-performance sales teams.
  • Deep understanding of consultative sales methodologies and enterprise buying processes with global scope.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to translate business objectives into actionable sales plans.
  • Demonstrated history of sales leadership positions in high-growth fast-paced environments requiring teamwork, flexibility, and change management.
  • Successful demonstration of strategic planning skills associated with sales organizations.
  • Strong sales and revenue process orientation.
  • Proven track record in budgeting and resource management.
  • Experience in developing sales incentive plans preferred.
  • Advanced understanding of CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and sales analytics.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with a results-driven mindset.
