Job Description

AECOM Hunt has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Manager - Architecture to join our team of professionals in Phoenix, AZ.

  • Supports, oversees and coordinates architecture activities for an operating unit.
  • Makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative.
  • Initiates and maintains contact with senior-level management within the company and is skilled in dispute resolution and negotiation of critical issues. At this level, the individual will have demonstrated understanding of project delivery requirements, creativity, foresight, working with a multi-disciplinary team to meet project goals and deliver high quality technical excellence.
  • Demonstrates mature judgment in anticipating and solving both routine and unusual operations problems, determining operational objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guides for diverse architectural activities.
  • Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.

Qualifications

Minimum Requirement:

  • BS/BA Engineering/Business or similar curriculum and 10 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education including 2 years of leadership.

Preferred Requirements:

  • Master's Degree in Architecture.
  • Experience working with clients, teams, and stakeholders at all project stages.
  • Demonstrated experience as a Project Manager from a large firm.
  • Experience in collaborating with design team, clients, consultants, contractors, fabricators, regulatory agencies and other vendors to meet overall project objectives.
  • Experience in working with portfolios in excess of $1B+. 
  • Architectural experience in:
    • hospitality
    • sports
    • healthcare
    • convention center
