Job Description

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and interested in a career involving analytical data management, database programming, or data science. As part of our team, you will work on large environmental projects across America, and support ERM’s projects worldwide.

 

The responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

 

-Produce drаwings, layouts, sketchеs, mаps, аnd grаphics of enginееring dеsigns using computer-aidеd drаfting softwаre

-Rеquirеs a good working knowledge of AutoCAD, construction documents, and technicаl knowlеdgе

-Produce detailed, high-quality cartographic products and accompanying reports

-Compile, manipulate and refine geographic data from a variety of sources including, but not limited to field observation, digital aerial photography, and existing maps

-Perform regular quality control checks of GIS Data and non-spatial databases

 

 

 

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements

  • 5 years of experience in civil or surveying drafting design

  • 5 years of experience using AutoCAD is a plus

  • 5 year of GIS experience

  • Proficiency in ArcMap Pro and the ArcGIS Esri suite, with a solid understanding of geodatabases, coordinate systems, projections and spatial data management.

  • Experience with spatial analysis techniques, data interpolation methods (e.g., IDW, Kriging).

  • Experience managing small projects, and junior staff.

  • Excellent organization skills and attention to detail.

  • General knowledge of basic geologic principles and the environmental sciences.

  • Proficiency in standard office suite software applications.

  • Ability to demonstrate professional demeanor in written and verbal communications with clients, regulatory officials, and fellow employees.

  • Ability to write and to convey complex thoughts and ideas in a clear, concise manner. Ability to learn through on-the-job experience.

  • Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license.

  • Ability to travel, when necessary.
