American Express Company seeks Senior Managers, Data Analytics to analyze market trends and data to identify growth opportunities within the existing portfolio and with new lines of business. Perform growth strategy development for the business, identifying new spend opportunities and driving spend on card portfolios. Contribute to strategy execution for new business opportunities within an existing portfolio of accounts, prioritizing efforts across the portfolio. Track performance of portfolio of early-tenure customers, high-potential customers, and/or high-spending customers, marketing to and engaging customers by linking their business priorities to American Express’s value proposition. Contribute to purchase decisions, and track to ensure spend is captured. Liaise and coordinate with internal business partners, including sales support resources, to optimize the client and customer experience, contributing to growth on new and existing portfolios.
Position requires a Master’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, Economics, Management Science and Engineering, Statistics, or a related field, and 1 year of experience with data and business analysis. Experience must include 1 year of experience with each of the following: performing data analysis to gain organizational insights and identify cost reductions; and time-series analysis using statistical techniques and tools; leveraging MS Excel to structure data and generate models and reports; utilizing MS Excel, SQL, and big data platforms to structure data and generate models and reports; performing data analysis and forecasting using MS Excel, SAS, predictive models, and machine learning tools; and with programming using Hive, Python, R, SAS, SQL, and VBA. Telecommuting is available up to 2 days per week.

Salary Range: $111,966.00 to $165,000.00 annually
