Field Marketing & Events Specialist

Antithesis is hiring a field marketing & events specialist.

We’d prefer someone who can work onsite in the DC area, but if you’re based in SF or NYC and willing to travel to DC 1-2 weeks/month, let’s talk.

You’ll need to:

  • Own Antithesis’ marketing events strategy - survey the field of tech conferences, figure out what we should do at which, and then make it happen! You’ll need to do everything from registrations to talk proposals to making sure the swag is stocked and shipped.

  • Organize and host the numerous marketing events Antithesis hosts each year, everything from the DC systems meetup to sidecar events at conferences to small CXO dinners to the next edition of our one-of-a-kind conference on software reliability - we’re all over the US, and hopefully international soon.

  • Ensure that our events are amplified on various content channels, before and after the fact – Linkedin, twitter, youtube, and our blog as appropriate.

You must have:

  • Sales or marketing experience in B2B, ideally in software or technology fields.

  • Event planning experience in a business setting - you don’t need to have “event planner” on your resume, but you must have planned something bigger than a birthday party.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit, as well as organizational chops.

  • Work permission in the US.

  • And of course, you must be a good person to work with.

Bonus points if you have:

  • Broader marketing experience – if you’ve held a marketing generalist position, that’s a great start.

  • Graphic design and/or content writing/content strategy skills.

  • Substantial online following on LinkedIn, Twitter, or elsewhere.

  • Experience with deep-tech, not just B2B.

  • Hands on software engineering experience or other experience in the software development community.
