Sr Specialist Tech Business Analysis (SR. AGILE COACH)

Job Description:Role Description:Agile Coaches focus on driving transformation for the program which they are assigned and fully engaged. They are experts in helping teams mature in the use of agile methodology and explaining how the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) is used and implemented at AT&T. They will promote consistent behaviors and provide guidance to drive maturity. Agile Coaches guide and help teams on both the product and delivery side.The Agile Coach will use their broad Agile experiences and understanding of best practices to develop multiple agile teams within an organization or a release train. The Agile Coach may serve as an advisor for Scrum Masters and Scrum Teams and will help in the execution of an Agile Release Train. Afterwards, the Agile Coach can periodically check on teams, help them stay on track with Agile techniques, and fine-tune behavior as needed.Key Roles and Responsibilities:• The Agile Coach serves in a coaching/mentoring role only and does not occupy a SAFe role or an active member of a Scrum Team.• Participate in and support the AT&T Transformation effort, which may include:• Driving SAFe principles, values, behaviors and methodologies throughout the organization.• Assisting teams with planning and execution of ceremonies, use of the AT&T selected standard Agile tracking tool, Epic creation, User Story development, etc.• Partnering with the Product Owner to create and maintain the Backlog, including grooming.• Partnering with the Scrum Masters, Release Train Engineers (RTEs) and Solution Train Engineers (STEs) to ensure cross-team coordination and servant leadership.• Reaching out to the larger company network for impediment removal.• Guidance on use standard metrics that give the team insight into how they are doing and assistance in reporting these metrics to management.• Encouraging adoption of a truly Agile mindset, including ownership, self-management, empowerment and servant leadership.• Performing Agility assessment and providing feedback on future areas of focus for team improvement.• Coaching SAFe Team Members, SAFe Roles and Scrum Masters.• Pushing comfort levels of team members to achieve results.• Training SAFe Courses.Job Contribution:Technical professional with some experience. Sound technical knowledge growing through application, expanding knowledge of ATT technologies.Education:Preferred Bachelors of Science degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Science, Electrical Engineering, or Math; Developer nanodegree; or equivalent experience.Core Responsibilities:• Deliver hands-on coaching of individual teams in all aspects of Scrum and Kanban - daily meetings, planning, self-organization, collaboration, iterative development, managing flow, limiting WIP, etc.• Be a consultant as needed and work with the clients in product roadmap activities and translate the client vision into an actionable roadmap in terms of features and release schedule for the teams.• Coach the scrum master, product owner, team, and leadership as appropriate.• Conduct trainings and workshops as per the requirement of the teams.• Be with the team / customer on the floor and guide them in the transformation.• As needed, collaborate with other function / departments to understand the best practices and adopt in his/her team.• Interact directly with software and operations teams to mentor and guide them on the mechanics of Lean and Agile methods to achieve optimal team efficiency.• Collaborate within the Agile Practice and lend support to organizational initiatives.• Implement metrics framework to track value creation through Agile adoption.• Expose our technology teams to the latest innovative thinking and ideas from the Agile community to increase agility, using lean, scrum, kanban, and other agile thinking.Qualifications:• Overall 12 years+ of IT experience with 5 or more years of experience as agile coach.• Must have experience in using scaled agile framework (SAFe), Scrum, Kanban, DAD or LeSS.• Experience in conducting workshops, retrospectives, assessments, building relationships between multiple stakeholders and team members.• Agile coaching certification such as -SPC, ICP ACC, PSM 3.• SM/PO/DevOps certification.• Experience in handholding PO, Scrum Master and stakeholders during the transformation.• Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse personality types.• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.• Nice to have knowledge about TDD, ATDD, BDD, CI/CD and XP.• Track record of implementing agile techniques in different work cultures and environments.• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Desired Tools Experience (Or equivalent):• Jira• ADO• Leankit• Planview• PowerBIWeekly Hours: 40Time Type: RegularLocation: Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, IndiaIt is the policy of AT&T to provide equal employment opportunity (EEO) to all persons regardless of age, color, national origin, citizenship status, physical or mental disability, race, religion, creed, gender, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, genetic information, marital status, status with regard to public assistance, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local law.
