About This Role
Simply put – you love people, you love dogs, and you love talking to people about dogs! As an Operations Coordinator, you will support our Groomers and the Groomer Operation team to ensure that every dog gets the perfect groom. You are proactive, adaptable, and a relationship builder at your core.
You will primarily liaise with Pet Stylists and the Grooming Operations Management to ensure an excellent client experience. The ideal candidate is excited about the challenges that come with building a startup, loves teamwork, problem-solving and thrives in a fast-paced environment where they can work autonomously.
Role & Responsibilities
Proactively bridge communication between Pet Stylists and clients to avoid and/or reduce any service conflicts or issues.
Manage and be the first line of communication for our Pet Stylists when they are servicing appointments and redirect inquiries to other team members as necessary.
Proactively ensure Pet Stylist calendar hygiene – including time off, lunch breaks, efficient routing, and other miscellaneous items in our scheduling platform.
Coordinate with the Sales and Operations teams to reschedule appointments that need rescheduling due to planned or unplanned Pet Stylist absences.
Follow up with clients and collect outstanding payments.
Be excited to learn about specific dog characteristics & local geography to achieve operational excellence.
Support Pet Stylist in their role to ensure a world-class client experience.

Qualifications:
Must be both a people and dog lover!
Minimum 1 year of experience working in a client-facing role.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and negotiation skills.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to adapt to the needs of the organization.
Proficient with Google productivity suite (Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc).
Ability to work weekends.
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $6-7, based on experience.
