Online shops, digital agencies, SaaS providers, and software consulting firms are a few of our clients. Our team of over 100 engineers is distributed in more than 10 countries across the Americas. We are a fully remote company working with a wide array of technologies and have expertise in every stage of the software development process.

Our team is highly connected, united, and culturally diverse, and our collaborators are involved in many initiatives around the world, from wildlife preservation to volunteering at local charities. We also participate in group activities like movie nights, trivia, and meme competitions. We stand for honesty, fairness, respect, efficiency, hard work, and cooperation.

What are we looking for?

We are seeking a Data Analyst to work with one of our foreign clients. This independent, non-profit global research organization turns big ideas into action at the nexus of environment, economic opportunity, and human well-being.

In this role, you will collaborate with the data team to develop user-facing geospatial applications, data dashboards, and decision-support tools to help monitor, learn from, and mobilize action toward the transformational shifts needed to protect both people and the planet.

This is initially a 6-month role but is open to extension.

Here are some of the exciting day-to-day challenges you will face in this role:
  • Work with the researchers to identify data sources and collect data for indicators that have been identified for the platform.
  • List and identify where the data could be available on the internet (e.g. publications, newsletters, annual reports, etc), or suggest a proxy indicator if there is no exact dataset available.
  • Perform an ETL process on the datasets that researchers need and document how the data was collected and upload this information into their system so it can be updated on the application.

You will shine if you have these:
  • Strong experience performing ETL processes.
  • Strong experience with data manipulation tools like Excel.
  • Knowledge or experience analyzing geospatial data.
  • Familiarity or knowledge of environmental topics like climate policy, agriculture, or forests.

It doesn’t hurt if you also have:
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
  • Experience with Python, PowerBI, Tableau, or other tools is nice to have.

Here are some of the perks we offer you:
  • Salary in USD
  • Flexible schedule (within US Time zones)
  • 100% Remote

Hey, you are still here!

So, let us ask a few questions. Do you like working in a friendly environment? Are you fluent in English? Do you have a strong work ethic, are detail-oriented and have an ownership mentality?
