For our Bruker AXS location in Leiderdorp, we are looking for Field Service Engineer / Technician (m/w/d).

 

The primary objective is to be an efficient and effective member of the Customer Service team in delivering highly competent, effective and focussed solution support to the customer base to achieve maximum customer satisfaction and to widen the professional image of the company.

Responsibilities

  • Performs pre-installation, installation, periodic maintenance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, upgrades and basic applications support of MCT, XRF, XRD & SC-XRD systems for customers both domestic and international.
  • Provide technical, software and application related support and assistance to customers and to colleagues, either directly or by remote diagnosis.
  • Networking of analysis instruments with optional software solutions and their implementation into existing laboratory information systems.
  • Capacity to take responsibility for the complete installation and to instruct users in its basic operation.
  • Frequent travelling within the Netherlands and up to 30 % international travel will be required. Most trips will be day trips - up to 80% of the time will be spend on customer visits

Qualifications

  • You have a solid technical or scientific background gained in industry or academia. HTS, Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Physics or related field. Alternative a long experience in service / applications with appropriate instrumentations.
  • Relevant practical experience at service fieldwork.
  • Good computer literacy, including familiarity with data system hardware and industry standard operating systems.
  • You work in a customer oriented manner and have a sense of responsibility as well as a friendly and confident appearance.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with proven experience in working effectively as both an individual contributor and team player in a global, customer-oriented work environment.
  • Fluent in reading, speaking, and writing Dutch and English is required. Additional languages are a plus.
  • Valid Driver's License, issued by resident state or governing location.
  • Willing to travel frequently. Ability to maintain a valid passport with flexibility for domestic and international travel - no visa restriction preventing travel in the USA or EU.
