We're looking for a Product Manager who is passionate about changing the way people learn English. As a Product Manager, you'll be part of a team of engineers, designers, and other stakeholders building user-centric solutions that improve learning outcomes and engagement. This role will straddle growth, search & recommendations, and marketplace dynamics. We’re a startup and in the early innings of making Cambly great, so you’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide array of user problems. Your work will directly impact our learners and tutors worldwide, helping them achieve their language goals.

You have…

  • 3+ years of product management experience

  • 8+ years of relevant experience in areas like product management, engineering, business analytics, etc.

  • data-driven methodology: You dive into existing data and source new data (through experiments, tracking, research, etc.) to generate insights that inform the product roadmap.

  • user-focused mindset: You always start with a user problem.

  • cross-functional collaboration skill: You are experienced at aligning stakeholders with diverse points of view across technical and nontechnical backgrounds

  • experience in edtech, language learning, or marketplace platforms is a plus.

You will…

  • do research and analysis. You will know our learners and tutors, and understand how they behave, and where our biggest opportunities lay.

  • define the problems that are most important to solve right now.

  • own your roadmap, working cross-functionally to prioritize the most impactful work for the team.

  • partner with the CEO to communicate the vision.

  • Building a tutor discovery experience that is engaging and effective at connecting students with the perfect tutor

  • Expanding our marketplace offerings to capture new learner and tutor segments

  • Creating a classroom experience where lesson content is generated by AI to be tailored to the learner's needs

  • Building post-lesson activities that are curated to fit each learner's areas for improvement

  • Optimizing learner flows to drive increased bookings

This role is based in San Francisco, and the expected base salary range for this position is as shown below. The actual base pay is dependent upon a variety of job-related factors such as professional background, training, work experience, business needs and market demand. Therefore, in some circumstances, the actual salary could fall outside of this expected range. This pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. All full-time employees are also eligible for equity compensation and for benefits.

Compensation Package

$200,000-$240,000 USD Base Salary + Pre-IPO Stock Options
