Role Description:
The role is for a senior Guidewire developer/architect that will augment the current team and support various integrations and enhancements for the claims business needs.
Designs high-level structures that enable and guide the design and development of integrated solutions to meet current and future business needs. Provides comprehensive guidance on the development of, and modifications to, solution components to ensure that they take account of relevant architectures, strategies, policies, standards and practices (including security) and that existing and planned solution components remain compatible.
Identifies new and emerging technologies, products, services, methods and techniques and assesses relevance and potential impact (both threats and opportunities) against business enablers, cost, performance and sustainability. Communicates recommendations to appropriate business partners.
Applies knowledge and technical expertise to design and improve organizational IT structures in order to better support business operations and/or customer experience. Consults and works with application developers and other business partners to understand system architecture, design and integration requirements.
Plans, implements and controls the activities needed to integrate new or updated components, subsystems and interfaces. Develops and/or expands the organization's capabilities for systems integration and automation.
Designs user experiences (UX) or user interfaces (UI) that create satisfying and positive experiences for end-users by bringing in their perspective to every stage of the design or problem solving process as it relates to creating or enhancing websites, programs and/or digital applications.
Minimum Experience : 7yrs
Must to have : Requires good hands on Java and Gosu programming skills and understanding of architecture fundamentals
Additional Preferred Branch(es) of Study : GW certification
