Job Description

Join our team in the Estrie area Buildings sector as a structural engineer. As part of a team recognized for its expertise, you will participate in the structural design of institutional, residential and commercial projects. You will bring your technical knowledge to provide innovative solutions for our clients' projects.

Primary responsibilities

  • Participate in the design of structural elements for various steel, concrete or wood structures
  • Perform calculations using specialized software for new constructions, carry out expert assessments and supervise asset maintenance work on existing buildings
  • Find and recommend solutions to technical problems and issues
  • Follow up on each step of a project (field surveys and inspections, technical reports, plans and specifications, work supervision)
  • Provide technical support to clients and ensure proper coordination with the various stakeholders (architects, engineers, contractors) throughout the project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or an equivalent
  • Hold an engineering title from the Ordre des ingénieurs du Québec
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience in building structures at conception level and in inspection on construction sites
  • Proficiency with ETABS, ADA and SAFE software
  • Working knowledge of Autocad and Revit software
  • Ability to work on different projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in oral and written French
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
  • ASP Construction card.
