We are looking for an experienced Director, Product to define and execute the product strategy across our division, ensuring product development aligns with business objectives to drive growth and innovation. Working closely with the divisional Executive Director and Head of Product, you will lead a team of product specialists and collaborate with key stakeholders across Service, Support, Sales, Development, and Central Functions to deliver market-leading solutions.

In this senior leadership role, you will oversee strategic planning, budgeting, and the performance of the product team, ensuring roadmaps maximize productivity and commercial value. You will drive R&D initiatives, leveraging market research, competitor insights, and customer feedback to refine products and maintain a competitive edge. Additionally, you will support Civica’s M&A activities, contributing to due diligence and integration efforts.

We are seeking a strategic thinker with strong problem-solving skills, stakeholder management expertise, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, and customer-centricity while building and developing a high-performing product management team. What you will need to be successful in this role

  • Significant experience in leading product management teams within a B2B software company.
  • Experience in overseeing divisional product strategies.
  • Strong understanding and perspective on product management best practices, methodologies, and frameworks.
  • Experience managing complex teams, including remote teams, providing leadership in an ambiguous environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to effectively engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Highly analytical, with a data-driven approach to decision-making; comfortable utilizing metrics and tools to inform choices.
  • Demonstrable organizational skills.
  • Strong planning capabilities, both strategic and responsive.
  • Proven experience managing significant R&D budgets effectively to drive product development.
  • Knowledge of product management within EdTech.
