The Role: Product Manager

Summary:
As a Product Manager at BrightOrder, you’ll lead the strategic evolution of our AI-powered SaaS platform, collaborating closely with engineering, design, and customer-facing teams. You’ll own and execute a focused product roadmap, delivering at least three impactful enhancements within your first six months. Your work will drive a 20% increase in product adoption within the first year, directly supporting our mission to deliver seamless, intelligent software that empowers customers through actionable, data-driven insights.

Mandatory

Experience

  • 3–5+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager, ideally in a SaaS environment.
  • Hands-on experience managing the full product lifecycle, from discovery to launch and iteration.
  • Direct experience working with at least one of the following: maintenance software, telematics platforms, or ELD (Electronic Logging Device) systems.

Skills

  • Strong understanding of SaaS platforms and business models, such as subscription-based services and cloud computing.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
  • Proficient with product management tools, including Figma, Aha!, Jira, Pendo, and BI tools
  • Ability to balance technical, business, and user experience priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Technical Knowledge

  • Familiarity with AI frameworks, tools, and technologies.
  • Basic understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, cloud platforms, and Agile methodologies.
  • Comfortable discussing technical concepts and collaborating closely with engineering teams.

Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, or a related field or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with maintenance software and telematics systems, particularly in environments where AI applications are transforming traditional business models.
  • Demonstrated leadership in cross-functional teams, with the ability to align stakeholders across product, engineering, design, and business units.
  • Strong business acumen, strategic thinking, and a customer-centric mindset, with a focus on delivering products that solve real-world problems and drive measurable value.
  • Familiarity with ethical AI principles and data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA), and how they impact product development.
  • Certification in Product Management or Agile methodologies (e.g., CSPO, SAFe, Pragmatic Institute).
