What you’ll do when you join us:

The role involves analyzing complex business and financial data to generate actionable insights, supporting data-driven decision-making. This includes developing and maintaining reports, dashboards, and ad hoc analyses while ensuring accuracy through built-in checks and balances. The position requires building complex financial models to forecast performance, assess ROI, and evaluate business scenarios, along with identifying trends and patterns to inform strategic recommendations. Strong communication skills are essential for creating visually compelling graphs, charts, and written narratives to convey insights effectively to diverse audiences. Additionally, the role collaborates across departments to translate stakeholder needs into detailed technical requirements, supports database development to maintain data integrity, and ensures compliance with data privacy regulations. Staying current with industry trends and emerging technologies, as well as maintaining thorough process documentation, are also key aspects of the position.

Here’s what we’re looking for:

  • 5+ years' experience performing business and financial analysis
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field or related experience
  • Advanced skills in Power BI (Power Query M, DAX), Excel and SQL
  • Strong data visualization and data storytelling ability
  • Proven ability to support data-driven decision-making at all levels of the organization, by providing clear financial insights, analyses, and strategic recommendations.
  • Deep understanding of ETL processing and data warehousing
  • Experience with CRM, ERP systems, SaaS and sales KPIs
  • Knowledge of subscription business models, preferably in edtech
  • Solid understanding of data structures and analytics
  • Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
  • Discernment, discretion, and ability to maintain confidentiality
  • Collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills
  • Note: This position is remote, employees are eligible to work remotely in any of the following states: AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IL, NV, NJ, NM, NY, OH, OR, TX, VA, WA.

The hiring range for this position is $110,000–$130,000 annually. The pay offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience, among other factors.
