CRB's nearly 1,400 expert professionals drive innovative, life-changing and life-saving solutions for manufacturers in the life sciences and food and beverage industries. Our mission, vision, and core values put client satisfaction and employee experience at the center of everything we do.
As an AEC firm, we proudly specialize in industries that inherently carry important social responsibility - we recognize our impact and influence in the communities we serve and pursue corporate responsibility through the lens of people, community, and planet. From oncology and rare disorders to COVID-19 or alternative proteins, our design and construction projects are pioneering solutions addressing important issues such as food scarcity and global health.
The Global Strategic Opportunities Lead Estimator will support significant projects for the Life Sciences and Food and Beverage industries at CRB. As part of CRB’s Project Operations & Risk group, this position reports to the Director of Estimating and focuses on tasks directed by the Vice President of Global Project Delivery. Engagement will occur throughout the conceptual and schematic design phases, where this role is responsible for using conceptual scope and cost modeling techniques to develop accurate and comprehensive cost estimates for CRB’s core markets.
Additionally, the estimator has a key role in the pre-construction phase, supporting the conversion of opportunities into future projects. This client-facing position requires the ability to effectively communicate complex cost-related information to clients, ensuring transparency and fostering trust.
The estimator collaborates closely with project teams to ensure that estimates align with project goals and budgets. As design progresses, this role involves managing trades or discipline estimators to develop detailed estimates that include labor, material, and other breakouts to support successful transitions to execution teams.
When not supporting GSO projects, this position will support the business from the POR center group, often leading and developing cost estimates for other operational teams.
