Educator Healthcare Product Utilization

With safety always at the forefront of mind we are excited to announce our newly created position: Clinical Educator, who will be responsible for driving the development of training processes, education resources and thought leadership content for staff and customers. They will be tasked with implementing and educating end users on Daniels Health devices used in hospital facilities and other healthcare locations with the opportunity to be at the forefront of cutting-edge medical safety device technology. This role will develop strong leadership and educator skills by interacting with peers in the healthcare setting without patient care responsibilities.

 

This position will play a critical role in building relationships with relevant industry experts as well as supporting our sales, marketing and operations teams in customer risk management, infection control and needlestick injury reduction. They will be providing strategic business direction for our clinical focus, working with departmental leaders to align business direction.


What you will do
  • Providing strategic business direction for our clinical focus, working with departmental leaders to align business direction
  • Deliver authoritative advice on behalf of Daniels to the market with regards to clinical protocols and the effective use of Daniels products, giving professional expertise to end users and Daniels Health staff
  • Develop training processes within our business, with the potential to expand a team to support
  • Drive the development of new education resources, thought-leadership content and training support material for our customers
  • Provide peer-to-peer education and consultation to clinicians, and other healthcare staff in support of end-user education needs in the healthcare setting
  • Assess customer needs and assist with resolving issues stemming from lack of knowledge or understanding of the product
  • Assist in the delivery of medical device-related in-service education to support key customers
  • Follow-up with key accounts, sales and operations and customers to assess unmet education and clinical needs as it relates to successful medical device implementation.
  • Provide customer feedback to corporate teams to improve new and existing processes
  • Serve as an education resource on the Daniels suite of devices and processes


Preferred Qualifications
  • Ability to travel 50%-60% of the time (nationwide role)
  • Experience working as a clinical educator / in a commercial setting
  • Experience in developing and implementing education through healthcare settings
  • Ability and experience in speaking at seminars, conferences, customer presentations. Experienced in supporting sales teams with presentations and proposals
  • Understanding of industry regulations and accreditation requirements governing the Daniels Health business model and their application and applicability within clinical setting
  • Understanding of clinical outcomes, and how our solutions support this and can be demonstrated to provide value to customers and potential customers
