We’re looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Social Media Analyst to join our team and help us understand the performance of our media campaigns, especially across social media. This is a great role for someone who enjoys working with data, creating reports, and learning how to turn numbers into stories. You’ll support marketing and publicity teams by analysing data, tracking key social media metrics, and producing regular reports that help inform creative and strategic decisions.
· Data Collection and Analysis: Gather and work with data from social media platforms and other sources to track campaign performance.
· Reporting: Create clear and simple reports using tools like Excel and PowerPoint that highlight key trends, results, and recommendations.
· Insight Development: Help the team understand what’s working and what’s not by turning data into easy-to-understand insights and summaries.
· Team Collaboration: Work with account and creative teams to deliver data that supports client objectives.
· Tool Use: Use social listening and analytics tools (like Brandwatch, Meltwater, etc.) to track social media conversations and engagement.
· At least 2 years of work experience in social media analytics or a similar role.
· Familiarity with social media platforms and key performance metrics (e.g., engagement, reach, sentiment).
· Good understanding of social listening or analytics tools.
· Good Excel skills for data analysis (formulas, charts, pivot tables etc.).
· Comfortable creating PowerPoint slides with data visualisation and summaries.
· Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.
· Clear written and verbal communication.
· Interest in social media trends and the entertainment/film industry is a bonus!
