As an Embedded Software Application Engineer at DMV IT Service LLC, you'll be stepping into an exciting role where innovation meets automotive technology in Greensboro, NC. We’re on the lookout for a talented individual who loves to develop and release hardware and software design solutions for critical electronic components in North American truck products. In this position, you’ll collaborate with global teams and esteemed Tier-1 suppliers, playing a vital part in ensuring that our electronic control units (ECUs) operate flawlessly across our product range. Your daily tasks will involve tracking the development of platforms, participating in supplier discussions, and adhering to the structured Level 4 time plan milestones. You’ll be troubleshooting component installations for Body ECUs, managing defect reports, and documenting various software configurations. If you enjoy diving into data, you’ll love using Canalyzer tools to analyze logs and perform troubleshooting. You'll also get hands-on experience downloading software and conducting vital tests before integrating any components. By engaging in PI planning and managing your progress through sprints, you’ll contribute to making DMV IT Service LLC a leader in the IT consulting space. Your 2-5 years of experience in embedded development is just what we need, combined with your proficiency in dealing with release processes in the automotive industry.
