Lead IT Analyst

Dscout is a flexible Experience Research Platform for capturing in-context insights from high-quality participants, bridging the gap between product teams and users. We are looking for a Lead IT Analyst to join the Cybersecurity and Compliance team, reporting to the VP, Compliance and Information. This is a key role where you'll lead and support our employees through first-line and advanced technical troubleshooting. In addition to serving as an escalation point for user issues and solving technical problems, you’ll also be responsible for asset management, technical project work, and relevant documentation. This role requires a deep understanding of IT management, including technical and business acumen, that will allow you to align IT initiatives to business goals and objectives. 


Location Requirement: Dscout is a fully remote company, but this role requires the candidate to be within commuting distance of our Downtown Chicago office. While the position is primarily remote, occasional on-site presence is required for hardware management, IT support, and company needs.


What you will do:
  • Serve as the primary escalation point for technical issues and provide advanced IT support
  • Manage key IT projects such as SaaS deployments, Single Sign-On (SSO) implementations, and OS upgrades, etc
  • Procure, deploy, and manage IT assets including computers, software, and mobile device management (MDM) tools ensuring users have the technology tools they need to work productively and securely
  • Administer user identities and perform account lifecycle management, including onboarding and offboarding
  • Develop and maintain IT processes, policies, and documentation to support operational efficiency and security compliance
  • Support and participate in security compliance efforts, ensuring adherence to industry standards and company policies
  • Proactively identify and implement process improvements, including the use of automation, to enhance IT support, reduce downtime, and improve user experience
  • Stay current on emerging technologies, evaluating and recommending solutions that align with business objectives


What you need to have:
  • Minimum of 5 years of IT management and operations 
  • 3+ years of IT project management experience
  • Strong understanding of IT best practices, including endpoint , network,  access, application, and access management Deep knowledge and experience with the following (or similar) core technologies/applications: Jamf Pro, Okta,Crowdstrike, and Google Workspace
  • Strong business acumen and demonstrated capability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and understand business needs
  • Ability to analyze technical issues, implement solutions, and drive continuous improvements including the use of automation to eliminate manual workflows
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and support technical and non-technical users
  • Demonstrated passion for providing excellent customer service
  • Demonstrated passion for curiosity and continuous learning, staying up to date on emerging technologies and best practices, and proactively sharing knowledge to support team growth

This role's annual base pay range is $90,000 to $110,000 USD

Where you land in the range depends on factors like your experience, skills, and the position's responsibilities. Employees new to Dscout typically come in near the start of the pay range.
